In the case of the Moon Meteorite model, the watch gained an even more magical and galactic dimension. The watch dial is made from a fragment of an asteroid from the asteroid belt between the orbits of Jupiter and Mars. During collisions, these fragments separated from their parent body. The typical meteorite pattern – the Widmanstätten structure – forms only when molten metal objects cool very slowly, which in this case means millions of years.
