SCHAUMBURG WATCH HREPET

HREPET stands for uncompromising mechanical watchmaking and a conscious return to classic complications. The HREPET model is equipped with a true mechanical hourly repeater — one of the most demanding and prestigious disciplines in traditional watchmaking.

Inside the movement, a precisely tuned repeating system with a hammer and gong operates. On the hour, the mechanism activates automatically, emitting a single, clearly defined sound that audibly marks the passage of time.

The sound of HREPET has been deliberately restrained: pure, controlled, and unobtrusive. A specially designed gong generates a short, harmonious resonance. The hammer strikes with precisely calibrated energy, ensuring consistent tonal quality. The result is a refined, subdued sound — an acoustic detail for connoisseurs.

For maximum everyday usability, the watch is equipped with a separate button located at 4 o'clock, which allows for complete deactivation of the acoustic repetition. This function disengages the striking mechanism from the going train, without affecting the precision of time indication. This ensures the watch remains completely silent in quiet environments or at night.
