The best Ternos Professional ever made
Swiss watch manufacturer DAVOSA, known for its functional tool watches with an excellent price-performance ratio, will in future be giving its brand symbol, a stylised wind rose (or compass rose), more space in its product design.
DAVOSA is beginning with a diving model that is appreciated by professionals and ambitious amateurs alike for its absolute reliability, excellent workmanship and high functionality: the Ternos Professional model series. Over the past few months, customer suggestions have been meticulously collected and further developed by our product design team. The result is the DAVOSA Ternos Professional 68h Automatic. According to DAVOSA Managing Director, Corinna Bohle, “The best Ternos Professional ever made”.

Meaningful wind rose
The star in the DAVOSA brand logo is actually a stylised wind rose, a historic maritime symbol that protected those who wore it, ensuring they would return home safely from their voyages. For DAVOSA today, the symbol serves as a promise: DAVOSA watches are made to reliably support the wearer in all sporting and everyday challenges through their uncompromising functionality and maximum precision.
The DAVOSA wind rose can be divided into individual kites. This geometric shape, with two pairs of equal-length sides, forms the basis of the characteristic hand design of the new DAVOSA Ternos Professional 68h Automatic. The hour hand is shaped as a typical kite or sword, while the minute hand differs fundamentally in its design, although it also adopts the design element from the brand logo. Its striking and unique effect on the dial is guaranteed to be instantly recognisable.

Convincing features
Excellent readability is a key safety criterion for divers. To ensure readability even in poor visibility, both the striking hands and the numerals on the dial and high-tech ceramic bezel are generously accentuated with SuperLumiNova© BGW9 luminous pigment. The scratch-resistant, unidirectional high-tech ceramic bezel has a minute scale covering the entire 360°, thus fulfilling a further diving watch standard. After feedback from our customers, the finely satined case of the new Ternos Professional 68h has been made even thinner, despite a pressure test of 30 ATM, thus enabling diving in water depths of up to 300 metres. It has a total height of 12.8 mm including the glass. In addition, the screw-down crown with double gaskets and slip clutch as well as the compass rose has been designed to be slimmer, making it more discreet while retaining its accustomed grip.

WaveSlide fine adjustment
Another highlight of the Ternos Professional 68h is the redesigned TriaLink stainless steel bracelet. The individually screwed, solid bracelet links end in a folding clasp that has been newly developed by DAVOSA, enabling convenient adjustment using two side pushers and a WaveSlide fine adjustment inside the clasp – without the need for additional tools.
